Welcome our 2025 – 2026 Conducting Intern, Renée Gehlbach!

We are thrilled to welcome Renée Gehlbach as our conducting intern for the 2025-2026 season. Renee is a Southern Californian musician and music educator. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and California Teaching Credential from Azusa Pacific University. She is currently the Choir Director at Diamond Ranch High School in Pomona, California. Renée has taught music to children of all ages in both private and group instruction, including at the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus and the National Children’s Chorus. She has studied choral conducting with Laura Keverian-Pitts, Dr. Alexandra Grabarchuk, Dr. David Rentz, and Réka Csernyik. Renée is a Kodály-Certified teacher and is active within her local chapter of the Organization of American Kodály Educators (OAKE).
