Deborah Winsor Williams, mezzo-soprano, continues to sing to both local and international audiences to great acclaim. Her most recent Oratorio concert was singing the Verdi Requiem under the direction of Ric Soto. She has performed frequently with the Long Beach Chorale under the direction of Eliza Rubenstein. Her concerts include singing the Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Bach’s Christmas Oratorio.Ms. Winsor Williams has been a frequent soloist in Handel’s Messiah (Christmas and Easter sections) over many years throughout Southern California and most recently under the direction of John Lamkin.
Ms. Winsor Williams’ extensive repertoire has included solo performances in Vivaldi’s Gloria, Haydn’s Paukenmesse, Mozart’s Vespers, Schubert’s Magnificat, Mozart’s Solemn Vespers, Requiem and C Minor Mass , Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody, Schubert’s Mass in G, Bach’s Magnificat, Verdi’s Requiem, Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
Ms. Winsor Williams also toured Europe singing the DuruflĂ© Requiem with the St. Martin-in-the-Fields Orchestra. She also performed in the West Coast premiere of John Rutter’s Magnificat.
